Job Description:
This job recruitment is for the post of Constable requires total number of Male Constables are 6252 and Female Constables are 1164 within the given last date. So, total number of vacancy available is 7416 post for this job vacancy recruitment. Below are the details of educational qualifications require by Punjab Police.
Educational Qualifications:
(i) The minimum educational qualifications must have 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized education board and the candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory.
(ii) Candidates must know to speak and write in local Punjabi language.
Physical Standards: you must be physically fit and standards require for a male candidates height as a 5’ 7” that is 5 feet 7 inches and for the female must have 5’ 3” that means 5 feet 3 inches.
Application Fees: You have to pay for general category candidates as Rs 400/, for SC/ST/BC candidates of Rs 100/, there is no fees charge for Ex-Servicemen candidates.
Deposit of Application Fees: you have to deposit a fees while filling the application online by (1) Net Banking, (2) Debit/Credit Card Payment or offline, along with the print-out of the fee of Challan form which will be generated after the first page that is Registration page of the online common application form has been submitted successfully at: (a) HDFC Bank (b) Police SAANJH Kendras.
Pay Band: The pay or salary will be provide of Rs.10300-34800 plus grade pay Rs.3200/, and other allowances as admissible.
Age Limit: The minimum age require for both male and female as on 1st,January,2016 for the recruitment of constable should be 18 years and maximum age should be 28 years. There will be no relaxation will be given in age to any candidate. Candidates who belongs to SC/ST or any backward classes related would be entitled to a relaxation in the upper age limit to the extent of 5 years over. For ex-servicemen, there will be relaxation in the upper age limit for 3 years plus the number of years of service provide in the Indian Defence Forces.

(d) In case if candidate fails to pay the deposit fees by the last date for depositing the fee, then their application shall be rejected at the same time. so, be careful while filling the form and also at the time of deposit fees.
(e) You will not allow to change any recruitment details after submission of Common Application Form under any circumstances. Applications with prescribed fee shall be received online.
